James Edward 'Jim' Loetz

SYRACUSE - James Edward 'Jim' Loetz, 78, North Webster, died at 2:45 a.m. Aug. 23, 2007, at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

He was born Nov. 16, 1928, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Oscar and Edna Buuck Loetz.

A Van Wert (Ohio) High School graduate, he moved to the Wawasee area from Ohio. He was a car auctioneer and owner/operator of J&J Motors, North Webster. He attended Grace Lutheran Church, Syracuse. He was a member of Ligonier Masonic Lodge and North Webster American Legion Post 253. He is an Army veteran.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Denny (Sandy) Jagger, Barbee Lake; Mrs. Rick (Cindy) Rosenkranz, Cape Coral, Fla.; Mrs. Reg (Deb) Coy, Warsaw; and Mrs. Brian (Sue) Wallen, Warsaw; eight grandchildren, Kara Lichner; Lara Burris; Brent White; Karly, Riley and Jamie Wallen; and Chelsea and Travis Rosenkranz; five great-grandchildren, Lindsay Burris, Jake Crousore, Grace Campbell and Kennedy and Morgan White; and one sister, Mrs. Marty (Marilyn) Gladish, Greenwood.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home-Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with Pastor Dennis Wilson officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery - Mock Addition, with military honors by the North Webster American Legion.

Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
