Editor, Times-Union: John Boren was a man who touched many lives. He believed in God full hearted and without doubt. John is loved by many and for those of us that love him, we say thank you. John was the man in charge of the church at Kosciusko County Jail. He was the back bone to why that jail is so spiritual and he always held all kinds of classes to help the inmates find and learn about God. I was there at KCJ not so long ago and John was a big help to me, when I found God I was blessed to have John baptize me on a Sunday morning service. I could not thank John enough so I said let me thank you in the only way I know, let’s paint a mural on the wall here in the church room at KCJ. He loved that church room and was proud of it. So he was nervous about it but when the painting was done he had a smile on this face and I knew I did not disappoint him and helped him be even prouder of that small room that God always seemed to be working in. Thank you John for all your help and time. Thank you for following God and striving to do his will with your life. Thank you John for being my friend and never giving up on me. You are forever in my thoughts and I know you’re smiling down on us today. You are loved and will never be forgotten. Your Loving Friend Aaron Rhoades Westville Correctional Facility
