Jack William Klinefelter, 84, Warsaw, passed away at 8:26 a.m. Aug. 9, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Feb. 19, 1930, in Arcola, to Jacob and Gladys Marie Hill Klinefelter. On Jan. 14, 1956, in Columbia City, he married Marilyn R. Kitchen, who survives in Warsaw. He was a general manager for American Home Center for eight years. He was also a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and attended Dutchtown Brethren Church. He was a past president of Warsaw Little League, a member of the NRA, a member of North South Skirmish Association and participated in their competitions. He enjoyed fishing, camping and wood working, and he was an avid outdoorsman. He was politically minded and known for his letters to the editor on such matters. Also surviving are: two sons, Jack W. (and spouse Tammy) Klinefelter Jr., Nashville, Tenn.; John J. (and spouse Trina) Klinefelter, Warsaw; a daughter, Valerie (and spouse Kevelin) Grimes, Nashville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two half brothers, Lowell Klinefelter and Robert Jean Heminger, and a half sister, Alice Wallace. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with Mr. Michael Kitchen (Marilyn’s brother) and Pastor Jack Worth of Dutchtown Brethren Church officiating. Burial is in Etna Green Cemetery.
