I was recently at the Veterans Hospital in Indy. What an experience. Not so much for myself, but for countless veterans waiting for different treatments, procedures etc.
The veterans hospitals and their outpatient clinics are overwhelmed with service connected disabilities. How in the world can our country send our brave men and women into harm's way without proper care when they return from combat service?
We sent billions of dollars to more than 178 hundred foreign countries. Why? The Russians and China never vote with us on any decorations and sanctions like Iran that are behind most of the turmoil in the Arab states.
Stop foreign aid to all countries. They hate us to begin with. Freeze all immigration since we can't even take care of the people that have been here for generations. Pull troops from places like South Korea and other bases around the world and do most of the basic training all along the southern border. If our country is so concerned about terrorism and drugs then start here in America.
And, finally, now there is no middle class anymore. There are those who live in poverty, mostly children and those who have lost their jobs because of the poor idealism to send jobs to India, China, Mexico and mostly Ireland. And why in the world do large companies not pay taxes?
We could reduce out debt in five years if only we follow this ideals I feel are justified.
