An undercover operation led to a Millersburg man’s arrest for allegedly dealing drugs. Commodore Gibson, 45, Millersburg, is charged with dealing in a Schedule I, II, or III controlled substance, a level 5 felony. On Sept. 20, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputy met with a confidential informant who told the deputy that he arranged to buy four prescription amphetamine pills from Gibson, according to a probable cause affidavit filed with the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. Police followed the informant to the Dollar General Store, where officers observed Gibson getting out of his vehicle with a female. After making the exchange, the informant provided police with a bag containing four pills that he had purchased for $20, the affidavit states. The informant told police Gibson was getting his prescription filled next week and would have more pills for sale, the affidavit states. The pills weighed a total of 1.4 grams. Gibson was booked Monday into the Kosciusko County Jail. Bond was set at $10,250.
