In This Together

Editor, Times-Union:

As we are sitting around thinking, praying and whatever else we do, I have a few encouraging thoughts for you. Just remember we are all in this together and it too will pass. I'd like to share these words of encouragement from Dear Abby:

Love conquers all.

We are all one in body, but not yet in spirit.

Every day might not be good, but there is good in every day.

Don't count the days, make the days count by throwing a kiss, sharing a smile with others and waving a hand of greeting to them.

When life gives you lemons make lemonade.

Drink a refreshing glass of lemonade and make a toast to our health.

God willing, never give up.

Remember the best medicine is a dose of laughter.

Our most common link is we all inhabit this small planet, we all breathe the same air, we all cherish our children's future and we are all mortals.

Pause daily to reflect, think positive and confirm the conviction that we as a nation will overcome this challenge as we have so many others.

Do good for others.

The greatest joy in life comes from giving.

Love and hope to all,
