NORTH MANCHESTER - Ilene M. Marshall, 94, of North Manchester, died at 1:20 p.m. July 18, 2009, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born Feb. 8, 1915, in Warren, to Harry and Delta Garretson Shafer. On Aug. 26, 1939, she married Carl A. "Johnny" Marshall, who died July 1, 1990.
She was a homemaker, worked at Chamberlain Co., South Whitley, and later retired from Controls Co., North Manchester. She graduated from Warren High School.
Surviving are two sons, Kyle (and spouse Gayle) Marshall, Churubusco, and Kent Marshall, North Manchester; a brother, Hugh (and spouse Luann) Shafer, Warren; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Larry Holderbaum officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
