PORTSMOUTH, Ohio – Ida LaBelle Wray, 86, Portsmouth, formerly of Warsaw, died peacefully Jan. 9, 2014, at SOMC Hospice.
She was born Jan. 13, 1927, in a farm house in Warsaw, to Graydon and Mildred Powell.
She was a lifetime member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church, Portsmouth, and was an avid bird watcher.
Surviving are two bothers: Jack (and spouse Ginger) Powell and Fred (and spouse Nancy) Powell, all of Warsaw; two daughters: Sue (and spouse Don) Sandmire, Andover, Kan., and Cindy (and spouse Randy) Eno, Wichita, Kan.; a son, Dean (and spouse Cindy) Wray, West Portsmouth, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Jordan, Kyle and Greg Eno; Alex Gard; Jessica Partin; Abigail (and spouse Brent) Seelmeyer; and Sarah (and spouse Adam) Betten; and six great-grandchildren: Chloe, Lucas and Maya Betten; Caleb and Liam Partin; and Charlotte Seelmeyer.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, Portsmouth.
Calling is one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home, West Portsmouth.

She actively contributed to many charities and wishes no flowers. Memorials may be made to any of her favorite charities in her memory: the Domestic Violence Shelter, Portsmouth Homeless Shelter, Cornerstone Food Pantry, Scioto County Children’s Services, CAO Clinic, National Guard and Veterans Helping Veterans.
