I was upset I missed the cage fights Saturday night. I have a lot of friends who compete. I have followed it since the beginning.
But I was really dorked when I read that a young man who attended was informed on to the police by an overzealous mother that was not even his own. In this land of PC fanatics, it appears we beat the Soviet Union but imported their police state ideas. The U.K. has installed 4,500 snooper video cameras at the cost of billions of pounds. Crime went down only 3 percent.
The same mothers that cheer 18-year-olds on to enter a crazy blood bath in Iraq are some of the same mothers who get all twisted if a teenager sneaks a brew. Oh, yes, some cops deserve a fist in the teeth.
