NAPPANEE - Howard Dean Helmuth, 22, of 10679 W. CR 1350N, Nappanee, died at 12:55 p.m. May 11, 2009, at Elkhart General Hospital emergency room.
He was born April 20, 1987, in Bremen, to Daniel W. and Mary Esther Miller Helmuth, who survive in Nappanee.
A lifetime resident of Nappanee, he was a member of Old Order Amish Church.
Also surviving are two brothers, Samuel Ray (and spouse JoAnn) and Delbert Lee (and spouse Martha) Helmuth, both of Nappanee; two sisters, Maria Ann Helmuth, at home, and Elain Sue (and spouse Norman) Hochstetler, Nappanee; and a grandmother, Barbara Helmuth, Nappanee.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the David Slabaugh residence, 10889 W. CR 1350N, Nappanee, with Bishop James Slabaugh officiating, assisted by Bishop Lonnie Slabaugh and Home Ministries. Burial will be at Borkholder Cemetery.
Calling is after noon Wednesday and all day Thursday at the James Slabaugh residence.
