Housing Opportunities Looking For Two Families For Grant Program

Housing Opportunities of Warsaw is seeking two families for a grant program to complete necessary work on their homes. The city of Warsaw was awarded Community Block Grant Funds to repair and retrofit homes in the city limits. This money is offered to homeowners below 40 percent area median income, according to a news release from?Housing Opportunities. The family income limit for the program is: • a household of one person must have annual gross income under $18,200. • two people, under $20,800. • three people, under $23,400. • four people, under $25,960. • five people, under $28,040. A person can refer to their 2016 tax return to see their annual gross income. This program is designed to replace furnaces and water heaters, install new roofs and handicapped ramps, and more, the release states.
