Warsaw Trims Memorial In NLC Match

ELKHART – Eric Ocock converted a penalty kick early in the second half for Warsaw, and the Tigers went on to a 1-0 Northern Lakes Conference boys soccer win at Elkhart Memorial Tuesday.

Goalkeeper Harrison Mevis had 13 saves for the Tigers.

The Tiger junior varsity had a pair of goals from Jose Lara on its way to a 4-3 win over the Crimson Chargers. Zachary LaLonde and Brennan Cox also scored in the match, and LaLonde recorded an assist.

Warsaw (6-3-2, 1-2 NLC) hosts Valparaiso in a non-conference match Saturday.



Manchester Rolls

NORTH MANCHESTER – Nathan Self and Caleb Stout scored a pair of goals each in Manchester’s 6-1 Three Rivers Conference boys soccer win over Rochester Tuesday.

Harley Kruschwitz and Noah Beck also scored for the Squires.

Next up for Manchester is a non-conference match at Eastbrook Thursday.



Cougars Fall To ECA

ELKHART – Parker Stewart had a pair of goals for Lakeland Christian Academy Tuesday in its 3-2  boys soccer loss at Elkhart Christian Academy.

Both Cougar goals were assisted by Theran McKeever. Junior goalkeeper Remington Swanson had three saves for Lakeland Christian.

The Cougars (2-5) play Bethany Christian in the LaVille tournament on Saturday.
