Lady Squire Golf Beats Whitko, West Noble
NORTH MANCHESTER – Kelsey Eichenauer’s 40 led Manchester to a pair of wins Tuesday in non-conference girls golf. The Lady Squires’ 174 easily bested West Noble’s 224 and Whitko’s 236.
Madyson Ulrey had a 43 for Manchester, with Sam Kissell at 44, Lydia Little at 47, Cora Barnett at 51, Alissa Bickerstaff at 56 and Morgan Stroud at 60.
Bailey Wright’s 50 led Whitko. Makayla Compton had a 60, Erin Starkweather a 62 and Summer West a 64.
Manchester (11-0) will play another non-conference match against host Oak Hill Thursday. Whitko will play host Fort Wayne Canterbury on Thursday.
Warsaw Splits In Conference Play
GOSHEN – Delaney Wihebrink had a 49 for Warsaw, helping the Lady Tigers to a split of its girls golf match Tuesday. NorthWood’s 184 was good for two Northern Lakes Conference wins, while the Lady Tigers beat Goshen 204-236 at Maplecrest Country Club.
Madelyn Ray had a 50 for Warsaw, Miriam Hagg had a 52, Grayson Kilburn a 53 and Izzy Ray posted a 59.
NorthWood’s Madison Richner was the medalist with a 42.
The Lady Tiger junior varsity also split its matches, falling to NorthWood (206) and beating Goshen 245-289. Anna Morgan had a 59 for Warsaw, with Julia Hildebrand at 60, Cassidy Good at 61, Brooklyn Fitzgerald a 65 and Valeria Messmore a 68.
Now 11-3 overall and 4-1 in the NLC, Warsaw will host Concord and Northridge Thursday at Stonehenge Golf Club.
Valley Drops Two
BUNKER HILL – Makayla Sandbakken paced Tippecanoe Valley with a 58 as the Lady Vikings dropped a pair of Three Rivers Conference girls golf matches Tuesday. Host Maconaquah picked up two wins with a 205, and Rochester got a victory with a 220 to Valley’s 243.
Bethany Johnson had a 60 for Valley, with Jordan Krotke at 61 and Kelsey Shafer at 64.
Valley will play Southwood in Wabash on Thursday.
