SYRACUSE – Helen Marie Roberts, 89, of North Webster, passed away Jan. 23, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.
She was born Jan. 19, 1923, in Warsaw, to George and Christina Kammerer Lehman.
She was known for her work at the ASC office in Warsaw, which she started right out of high school and worked there until retirement, a fact that she was proud of. She was a member of North Webster Church of God.
Last night the family lost a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She was a special lady that was always there to help. She fixed them many Christmas dinners. She made the holidays special. She also gave much goodness to her church and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Surviving are a son, Michael (and spouse Judie) Roberts, North Webster; two sisters, Lorene (and spouse Mart) Stookey, Leesburg, and Edna Lehman, Warsaw; two brothers, Leroy Lehman, Milford, and Howard Lehman, Florida; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be in North Webster Cemetery.
Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
