The Las Vegas massacre brought the expected cries for gun control from the progressives. Many of them think only the police and soldiers should have guns and that guns should be confiscated from private citizens no matter what the Second Amendment says.
Progressives hate the NRA, which was instituted to teach gun safety and protect our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. What the progressives want to do sounds like what the Nazis did when they disarmed their people in Germany and only allowed the police and soldiers to carry guns. Any private citizen with a gun had to be allowed to carry it by the Nazis. It looks like the progressives want to copy the actions of the Nazis.
The Nazis also believed some people didn't deserve to live, which is one of the reasons why progressives support the extermination of the unborn. One of the only differences between the Nazis and progressives when it comes to those with birth defects is that the Nazis killed them after they were born and progressives want laws to allow them to kill those with birth defects before they are born. Progressive judges in Indiana support the extermination of "defective" pre-born babies.
Progressives believe in limiting speech, which other tyrants like Hitler, Stalin and Mao believed before they condemned millions to death. Antifa reminds me of the Brown Shirts as they attack those that oppose them. The anti-Trump media reminds me of the Soviet-era newspaper Pravda. It supplied the Soviet people with fake news just like our media does today. The anti-Christian fundamentalist point of view of the media reminds me of the Know Nothings that hated the Catholic church 160 years ago and kept the Washington Monument from being completed until after the Civil War.
Progressives like President Wilson believed they could bring world peace through the human-originated body called the League of Nations. They might have thought if God couldn't bring world peace, men could impose it. Today, progressive are trying to use the United Nations and other organizations created by humans to do what God does: control the climate. We have done many things to hurt the environment. But since God created the world, only he will be able to destroy it, and that won't be for centuries.
The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun. No matter how hard progressives try to make the future better, they keep repeating the mistakes they made in the past. Calling a skunk a kitty won't make it smell any better. The actions of progressives don't smell any better either.
