Gullible

Editor, Times-Union:
We choose to believe what we want to believe. Too many people take advantage of that fact and know the gullible will believe lies if they are what the gullible want to believe.
Take President Trump and his administration. If you were to believe some of the lies, you would think he and his cabinet were the worst people in Washington. Don't people remember how bad Biden and his administration were? Biden bribed Ukraine with $1 billion to dismiss a prosecutor that wanted to investigate Barisma which was corrupt and which employed Hunter as a front man when Biden was appropriately the "vice" president. Years later, Trump was impeached because he wanted Ukraine to rightfully investigate Biden. It was as if the Lone Ranger was hanged for going after a bad guy.
Biden weaponized the Justice Department against Trump and tried to make him look like a criminal just like Obama did. If Trump was a convicted felon because he paid Stormy Daniels for an NDA which was a business expense, that would mean someone who kills a dog or cat is a murderer who should be thrown into prison or executed.
Comparing Vice President Vance with Vice President Harris is like comparing a college professor with someone flunking out of college. The ones in charge of going after illegal aliens who ought to be in prison are not enemies of the people. ICE is not the Gestapo because the Gestapo arrested innocent people that opposed the corrupt Nazi government while ICE arrests criminals that no one in their right mind would want in their neighborhoods.
Why didn't the Democrats release any of the Epstein files like Trump's Justice Department has? The FBI is finally going after criminals instead or making those that oppose the Democrats into criminals. Trump is waging a real war against drug runners and in a war, bad guys die. If the ones that were blown up were fishermen, why didn't they have fishing gear? We have a Secretary of War that wants people willing to fight instead of members of a social experiment that failed. I like having people in the health departments that don't want to mutilate children. I also like having a Department of Transportation head that wants quality people in airport towers instead of DEI hires. He also doesn't promote electric vehicles like electric school buses that are likely to stop cold in the middle of nowhere during the winter so that the passengers can freeze to death.
Trump has done things that I don't like. But he isn't a criminal.
