JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – Gordon J. Johnson, Atlantic Beach, Fla., passed away Nov. 5, 2014, following a brave struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He was married to Pam Hartle, who survives. He was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He was a pilot in the Navy and also served in Vietnam. A longtime Granger resident, he worked for DePuy and Cressy and Everett Real Estate before moving to Atlantic Beach in 1990. While in Florida, he owned a successful aerial photography business. Also surviving are two sons, Eric (and spouse Heather) and Michael Johnson; and two granddaughters, Tiara and Chloe. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Christopher.
