What would you say is our country's most important need today? I think it is prayer. I feel our country is like a sick man who needs to go to a doctor, but neglects to go. We hear of fires in California, extreme earthquakes, eight inches of rain in one day, floods, tornadoes and more. That must and should encourage us to call our God (master physician).
I don't like that our president pressures Israel to give more land for peace. Israel gave Bethlehem and still no peace. He should know one cannot make peace with someone who may say (pretend) and not really want peace. When we wish peace, we must deal with the peacemaker. Christ is all and in all. Col. 3:11. "All things are possible with God," Mark 10:27. I can think of no other that is more important today than to call on the only one who can help us. He (Christ) is our hope. God's word reads, "If my people who are called by My name, and will humble themselves, and pray and seek, My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Chronicles 7:14. The Bible also says, "You have not because you ask not." James 4:2
We plant flowers for our enjoyment. I think I have heard that our God has created us for His enjoyment. It is Biblical that our God is a jealous God. EX. 20:5. He wishes that we give our full attention to Him and not to make worldly things our wishes us to have an abundant life. John 10:10. Many of us are familiar with the hymn "How Great Thou Art."
Let's pray that the people of our country will turn to our God in a mighty way. To put those fires out and to dry up the water where the floods are and to make Him first and most important in our lives. Children are our most important property we have. They need better attention by their parents.
