SYRACUSE – Glenda Smith, 89, formerly of Syracuse, died Oct. 2, 2013, in Stickens, S.C. She was born March 13, 1924, in Bath County, Ky., to Lewis and Clemie Alfrey Branham. On Feb. 26, 1941, she married Grover Smith, who died in 2012. Services will be at noon Monday at the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Topeka. Calling will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.
