Gladys L. Lowery, 94, died at 3:30 a.m. April 11, 2014, in Grace Village Healthcare, Winona Lake. She was born Dec. 1, 1919, in Warsaw, to Lawrence and Pearl Yarman Dunnuck. On Dec. 24, 1942, in Springfield, Mo., she married Harold G. Lowery, who survives. They would share 71 years together. She was a 1937 graduate of Warsaw High School. Living most of her life in Warsaw she and Harold co-owned Lowery Sewing Center for 20 years retiring in 1974. Together they attended Calvary Baptist Church, Oswego. Also surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda (and spouse Dean) Harman, Leesburg, and Landra (and spouse David) Grant, Pensacola, Fla.; five grandchildren and their spouses, Landon (and spouse Kim) Harman, Sharpsburg, Ga.; Britton (and spouse Jodi) Harman, Guatemala; Adam (and spouse Mindy) Harman, Winona Lake; Amy (and spouse James) Hogan, Bartlett, Tenn. and Jessica (and spouse Roger) Bowman, Deatsville, Ala; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Makulowich. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Rick Smith officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Calling is from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
