I sometimes think President Biden has no memory because his prescription for the ills of America and the world would be like a doctor prescribing arsenic coated with chocolate for his patients. It might taste good when it goes down, but eventually the prescription will kill the patient.

The Great Depression started out as a very bad recession in 1929 that might have ended in a few years. But Democrats convinced President Hoover to increase taxes tremendously and let the government spend more to take care of Americans. Our economy collapsed. Even FDR couldn't end the Depression with his programs because they relied on money from the rich to fund them and the rich managed to avoid many of the taxes Democrats thought would come in. The lofty dreams of Democrats and their glorious plans for the future slammed into merciless reality. It took WWII to end our Depression.

With history as a teacher, trillions of dollars of government spending, much of it wasted and much higher taxes on businesses that will shift the costs to customers and the rich who will know how to avoid much of the taxation, the results will be devastating. The COVID-produced recession will become another great depression. Companies that Trump brought back to America will leave again to set up operations in countries that offer less taxation. Just because Biden thinks he can force nations to impose the same business tax rates as he wants to impose upon American companies doesn't mean he will get his way. It's as if he is gullible enough to think that if someone jumps off a cliff everyone will want to follow suit. The problem is that as he jumps off the cliff he'll have a death grip on the rest of the nation that will follow him to its death.

BLM and Antifa remind me of the Bolsheviks and Nazis.  When they began, most people didn't take them seriously.  They were radicals and eventually people would come to their senses and take care of the troublemakers. Instead, we had the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. The Soviets and Nazis had the media behind them just like BLM and Antifa does. Rules were made to satisfy the Bolsheviks and Nazis.  Today we make rules that satisfy BLM and Antifa.

If criminals are allowed to roam free, expect more crime to happen. If you're paid more to not work, expect less people working. If you select corrupt people to control the justice system, expect corruption to be acceptable. We fought a war against fascism. Did we win it so fascists could take over America?
