NORTH WEBSTER – Gerold R. Gary Baker passed away Dec. 31, 2015, in Mississippi. He was born Feb. 11, 1925, in his family's home in North Webster, where he spent the majority of his life. He was a farmer by profession, ran Baker's Dairy and worked in the mobile home industry for several years. He loved hunting, fishing and golf, and also worked at SouthShore Golf Course. He was a member of the North Webster American Legion. Surviving are one sister, June Auer, Syracuse; two sons, Craig and Charlie (and spouse Jill) Baker, North Webster; one daughter, Chris Anderson, Madison, Miss., five grandsons: Tony (and spouse Sandra) Baker, Ross (and spoue Laurie) Cable, Nick (and spouse Kara) Baker, Luke (and spouse Tyson) Baker, and Jake (and spouse Kari) Baker, one granddaughter, Cindy (and spouse John) Gardner, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Nancy Laird Baker; his father, Harold Baker; mother, Helen Baker and one brother, Richard Baker. ***** A memorial service will be held in North Webster Cemetery at a later date.
