NAPPANEE - Gerald A. "Lefty" Robison, 76, of 23339 U.S. 6E, Nappanee, died at 6:15 p.m. Oct. 6, 2009, in Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, following a brief illness.
He was born July 20, 1933, in Nappanee, to Otto A. and Mary E. Thomas Robison. On June 11, 1952, in New Paris, he married Mabel R. Lantz, who died Nov. 19, 1998.
A lifetime area resident, he was a woodworker and worked at Mutschler Bros., Nappanee Wood Products, Creative Dimensions and GCI, all in Nappanee.
Surviving are a daughter, Gale (and spouse Larry) Koniecki, Marseilles, Ill.; two sons, Doug (and spouse Linda) Robison, Millersburg, and Dennis Robison, Goshen; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Rosalie (and spouse Dale) Weaver, Nappanee; Shirley Cannon, Bremen; and Nancy Davis, Goshen. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Janet McFall-Brown officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
