Mr. Hites' most recent letter of March 26, titled "Bible Teachings," deserves a response. He goes into a long-winded diatribe about what constitutes sin and defends his gay bashing by saying it's his duty as a Christian to point out wickedness to sinners in order to save his soul.
According to you, you've saved your soul with your warnings to us and you should feel good about that. However, your views are offensive to me and I would comment that your gay bashing in the public newspaper is offensive also. Isn't there a church newsletter that would be more appropriate to send your opinions to?
I'm not gay, but it offends me to no end to listen to your hatefulness. And I will point out I don't instigate our tiffs in the newspaper, I merely respond to the venom you continue to spew in this public forum.
You've warned us, you've saved your own soul. Are you done yet or should you indulge your own sin of "lust of the eyes" by continuing to read your words published in this newspaper?
