Fred McKown Jr., 84, died at 3:15 a.m. Oct. 5, 2009, in his son's residence in Plymouth.
He was born Dec. 1, 1924, in Silver Lake, to Fred Sr. and Lucille Underhill McKown. In February 1947, he married Marilyn Mowery, who preceded him in death.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and was former owner of McKown Cadillac and Oldsmobile, Warsaw.
Surviving are a son, three sisters and a grandson. He was preceded in death by a son.
A private military graveside service will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military honors by member of Warsaw American Legion 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1126.
