NORTH WEBSTER – Franklin J. “Frank” Schaefer, 39, Goshen, and formerly of North Webster, passed away at 10:54 a.m. Dec. 14, 2014, at I.U. Goshen Hospital. He was born Dec. 24, 1974, in Goshen, to Franklin J. and Mary Margaret Newby Schaefer. He grew up in North Webster, lived most of his life there before moving to Goshen two years ago, and attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse. He formerly attended the Country Bible Church, North Webster. Surviving are his mother, Niles; father, Syracuse; three brothers: Eric (and spouse Stephanie) Schaefer, Warsaw; Bryce (and spouse Dawn) Schaefer, Niles; Jesse Schaefer, Syracuse; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. No services are planned at this time. A time of remembrance will take place at the New Paris Speedway on opening night in the spring of 2015. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S.
