Four Area Players Selected For Michiana All-Star Game

MISHAWAKA – Four players from the Times-Union area have been selected for the 2017 McDonald’s Michiana High School All-Star games, to be held at Bethel College on March 28. Warsaw’s Kyle Mangas was the lone boys selection from the area. Others on the team are Damezi Anderson, Shamar Dillard and Mo Scott of South Bend Riley, Noah Applegate of Penn, Matt Box -of Bremen, Cornell Connor of Elkhart Central, Walter Ellis and Mike Green of South Bend Adams, Nick Felke of Plymouth, Elijah Hales of Westview, Mike Hemmingway of Mishawaka Marian, Cory McKinney of South Bend Washington, Vincent Miranda -and Luke Zurcher of NorthWood, Luke Morrison of Northridge, Tysean Sheppard of South Bend Clay, and Nathan Stutzman from Clinton Christian. Madi Graham and Dayton Groninger of Warsaw, along with Tippecanoe Valley’s Anne Secrest, will play in the girls game. Other all-stars are Diamond Adams of South Bend Washington, Alli Andrews of Plymouth, Alex Bope of Oregon Davis, Kelsey Brickner and Brooke McKinley of Northridge, Sarah Doi of Penn, Savannah Feenstra of NorthWood, Samantha Jankowski of Adams, Nicole Konieczny and Abby O'Connor of 3A state champion South Bend St. Joseph, Cydney Lapczynski of Elkhart Memorial, Riley Ott of LaPorte, Mya Scheidt of Crown Point, and Asia Strong of Riley. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $2 for students and children 12 and under are free.
