A fire destroyed a barn in rural North Manchester Wednesday. Sidney Fire Department responded to the blaze at 7172 E. Eel River Road around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. No injuries were reported. The fire destroyed several motorcycles and other items stored in the barn, causing about $70,000 in damage, according to Sidney Fire Chief Nathan Rhodes. The cause of the fire is undetermined. The barn is owned by Jay and Michelle Ison. Chester Township, Cleveland Township and North Manchester fire departments assisted at the scene.
