Kosciusko County Farmers And Artisans Market kicks off the Kids Pop Club Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
This is the second year of the Pop Club at the market, and is an educational program for kids ages 5-12 that teaches the importance of healthy eating through games and activities. This is a five-week program that includes activities like edible art with vegetables, a scavenger hunt and creation of a dinosaur garden.
Participants also will receive “Pop bucks” that can be spent on fresh vegetables at the market.
Kosciusko Community Hospital is the premier sponsor of the program. The market also offers fresh produce, maple syrup, baked goods, local honey, handmade soap, flowers, hot sauces, wooden toys and many more local products.
Bring the family downtown Saturday to support local farmers and artisans and sign kids up at the Pop Club table.
The market is located in downtown Warsaw on Center Street between Buffalo and Lake streets.
