NORTH MANCHESTER — Eva Kathleen Slater, 89, North Manchester, died at 9:17 a.m. June 16, 2018, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born April 13, 1929, in Liberty Mills, to Sherman and Iva Montel Rhoades. She was married to Donald L. Slater on Dec. 6, 1947. He died on July 30, 2004.
She was deputy assessor of Jackson Township, Kosciusko County, for 25 years.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Timbercrest Chapel.
Burial will be in Ulrey Memorial Cemetery.
