Ellen T. "Nana" KeeganEllen T. “Nana” Keegan, 91, of Warsaw, passed away at 12:50 a.m. June 6, 2011, in her residence. She was born Aug. 4, 1919, in Boston, Mass., to Patrick and Theresa Moore Dunican. On Sept. 4, 1939, in Boston, she married Ernest, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, DAV and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary all of Warsaw. Ellen was also a proud member of the Boston Irish Catholic Democrat Club. She was a volunteer for Kosciusko Community Hospital for many years. and enjoyed water aerobics at the YMCA. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Keegan, St. Augustine, Fla., and John Keegan, Sarasota, Fla.; two daughters, Irene L. Zimmerman, Warsaw, and Gail (and spouse Les) Guimond, Clearwater, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by three sisters. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Father Phil DeVolder officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
