More than 100 roller skaters from the U.S. and Canada will be in Warsaw for SK8CAMP USA beginning today at Eastlake Skate Center, 3010 Frontage Rd.
The camp is for skaters from beginner levels to elite, and includes 2017 Team USA World Championships athletes.
“It’s an amazing opportunity for the youngsters to get access to such high-caliber trainers like Pierluca Tocco and Danilo Decembrini, and the camp will be something they remember for years to come,” said Trace Hansen, Eastlake Skate Center owner.
Tocco puts on several shows each year and has many videos of these performances on YouTube. Decembrini is a four time World Champion in Pairs and was on the TV show “Italy’s Got Talent.”
The camp is sanctioned by USA Roller Sports, the International Olympic Committee-recognized national governing body for competitive roller skating. Visitors are welcome to visit from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily through Monday.
