There's a lot of talk this year's election made history. Is that what we really wanted? What's sad is most elections are won based on popularity. Who has the most money and the most friends. Even more, this year's, I believe, was based on the bigger landmark, race or sex.
What if we never saw or heard our electee? Didn't know their name or where they're from. All we would go by is facts. What they've done in life, what they've already done for us, who they believe in and what motivates them. To know the person face to face means far more to me.
All that money spent so quickly on making a name for themselves. What a waste. You want a name, go earn it. Show your blood. Prove your leadership by leading not spending.
Promises, promises, promises. It would be wonderful if within four years we are the "One Nation Under God" we used to be.
If you want to be a part of making history, stop stereotyping. I absolutely hate to hear the media use those "politically correct" words. Why must it even be a factor anymore? Our hearts and minds are what makes the person. The longer we make it an issue, the longer we will suffer.
