Eleanor M. Carey, 74, Warsaw, died at 5:44 p.m. Aug. 13, 2010, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
She was born June 2, 1936, in Pierceton, to Glen and Idabell Hollar Phillips. On Aug. 19, 1953, in Roselawn, she married Rex Cary Jr., who preceded her in death.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She worked as an assembler at Da-Lite Screen, Warsaw, for 26 years. She was a member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Warsaw.
Surviving are four children: Rex Carey III, Millicent Randall and Russell Carey, all of Warsaw; Cindy Greenwood, Pierceton; two sisters, Marion Wilson and Hope Mock, both of Wabash; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother and a grandson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Henry Church officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
