LIGONIER - Eleanor F. Naugler, 90, of Wolf Lake, died at 5:35 a.m. July 16, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.
She was born April 14, 1916, in Booth Bay Harbor, Maine, to Augustus and Iva Stairs Skillins. On May 4, 1940, in Bangor, Maine, she married Allan J. Naugler, who died Oct. 9, 1995.
Formerly of Maine, Louisville, Ky., and Fort Wayne, she moved to the Wolf Lake area in 1991. She was a secretary at Naugler-Titus Sawmill, Wolf Lake. She was a member of Gideon's Auxiliary, Noble County Camp and the Pasadena, Fla., Methodist Church Women's Auxiliary. She was a member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church and graduated from Bangor High School in 1935, and Maine School Commerce, Bangor.
Surviving are a son, Stephen Naugler, Cromwell; a daughter, Mrs. David (Trenna) Titus, Warsaw; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at J.A. Brazzell & Ulrey - Renner Funeral Home, Ligonier, with the Rev. Brenda Ginder officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Lake Cemetery.
