Editor, Times-Union: I am writing my first letter to the people of Kosciusko County to let them know what a horrific thing my husband and I are going through.
We lived at this house for 35 years. We are being put out by the fat cat loan company. The people don’t know how to live when you are told to get out like a dog. We both are disabled. I thought this country was caring but I found out it doesn’t care.
Habitat For Humanity built a house for someone else. There are donations for everyone else. My husband is 78, I am 75 years old. We’ve been married more than 50 years.
Please print my letter. I am very upset about this matter. I cannot sleep at night. I’ve been fighting cancer since last November. I feel like we’ve been thrown out to the wolves.
