NAPPANEE – Dr. Forest M. Kendall, 100, Nappanee, died at 5:46 p.m. Nov. 27, 2015, at North Woods Village, Mishawaka. He was born Jan. 6, 1915, in Greenfield, to John W. and Agnes Lonsdale Kendall. On June 8, 1939, he married Madge Stout, Boswell, who died Feb. 4, 1997. On April 27, 2004, he married Margaret Smeltzer, who survives. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving as a flight surgeon in the 340th Group, 57th Bomb Wing, North Africa, Italy and Corsica. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Jim Davidson officiating. Cremation will take place. Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. ***** Memorials to Elkhart County Humane Society.
