Dortha D. Bailey, 82, of rural Akron, died at 5:12 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.
She was born May 3, 1943, in Warsaw, to Ellis and Daisy Bradford Manns. On Aug. 25, 1962, she married Douglas Edgar Bailey in Silver Lake; he died Aug. 13, 1994.
Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron, with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating. The interment will take place following the service in the Akron Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
