NORTH MANCHESTER – Dorothy L. Willett, 88, of North Manchester, died at 4:40 a.m. Nov. 8, 2011, in her residence.
She was born Dec. 15, 1922, in Fleming County, Ky., to William and Louise Erskine Coffee. On June 27, 1942, she married Ralph M. Willett, who died Sept. 14, 1999.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Roberts Catholic Church, North Manchester.
Surviving are five sons: Gary (and spouse Paula) Willett, Irving, Texas; John Willett, Owingsville, Ky.; James (and spouse Joni Tracy) Willett and Larry Willett, all of Fort Wayne; and C. Phillip Willett, Berea, Ky.; seven daughters: Charlotte (and spouse Tommy) Robey, Lebanon, Ky.; Janie (and spouse Doug) Cambron, Loretto, Ky.; Margaret Holt, Shepherdsville, Ky.; Bernadette (and spouse Doug) Bradley, North Manchester; Dorothy Willett, Wabash; Laura (and spouse Charles) Pyles, Racine, Wis.; and Nancy (and spouse Frank) Hoffman, South Whitley; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Willett, California; a sister, Betty Shafer, Dayton, Ohio; 29 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two brothers and three sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Catholic Church, Flemingsburg, Ky. Burial will be in St. Patricks Cemetery, Maysville, Ky.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home, Flemingsburg.
