Dorothy Helene Bullock, 102, of Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw, passed away at 2 a.m. Feb. 15, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Dec. 23, 1910, in Milford, to Pardee and Grace Ringgenberg Warstler. On Feb. 27, 1936, she married George Anderson Bullock III, who died Aug. 10, 1987.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, she was a homemaker, and a member of Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw. She had worked at J.C. Penney, Elkhart, and Kline’s Dept. Store, Warsaw, for many years as a sales clerk. She was a member of Winona Lake Senior Club, Beth Bogg’s Bible Study and an honorary member of the Altrusa International Club, Warsaw.
She will be lovingly remembered by two sons, George A. (and spouse Ann) Bullock, Warsaw, and Robert A. (and spouse Carla) Bullock, Durham, N.C.; two daughters, Jeanine Knowles, Warsaw, and Rebecca A. (and spouse Phillip) Rinker, Goodyear, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Arneal Gunter, Leesburg. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Johnny and Myron Warstler; a sister, Opal Halterman Smith; and a son-in-law, Thomas Michael “Mike” Knowles.
Service will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Corinne Hodges and the Very Rev. Brian G. Grantz. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw.
Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
