NAPPANEE – Doris M. Berghorn, 91, formerly of Nappanee, died at 1:25 a.m. Dec. 8, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, after a short illness. She was born April 24, 1922, in Manhattan, N.Y., to Albert and Sophie Puls Stellmann. On May 9, 1948, she married Richard Berghorn, who died May 31, 1974. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with Pastor John Hickey officiating. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in Long Island National Cemetery, N,Y. Calling will be one hour prior to the Friday services. ***** Memorials to Goshen Trinity Lutheran Church.
