Donald Ralph ‘Don’ Taylor

Donald Ralph "Don" Taylor, 77, Warsaw, passed away at 7:21 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at his home.

He was born July 13, 1940, in Jollytown, Pa., to Rex and Nellie Mable Campbell Taylor.

He graduated from West Greene High School in Greene County, Pa.; Grace College, Winona Lake; and received his Master of Divinity from Grace Seminary. He grew up in Pennsylvania and lived in Michigan before moving to the Warsaw area in the early 1980s from Flora.

On Nov. 21, 1989, in Warsaw, he was married to Lee Ann Sturgill Peters, who survives.

He formerly served as pastor in Trout Lake, Mich., and Flora; taught school in Michigan; and retired from Kosciusko County Maintenance Department.

He was a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, where he was part of the Fight Club.

He is survived by his wife, Lee Ann Taylor; seven children; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

A celebration of life gathering will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway. Memorial services will follow at 4 p.m. Saturday in the church.

Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw, is in charge of all arrangements.
