MENTONE – Dianna J. Heisler, 73, Mentone, passed away at 8:04 p.m. Aug. 12, 2015, in her residence.
She was born Aug. 29, 1941, in Atwood, to Harold and Ethel Engle Truex. On July 1, 1960, in Atwood, she married Larry Heisler, who survives.
She worked for Cox Studio for 44 years and later she worked at Hatfield Elementary, Mitchell, as a school cook.
She was a 1959 graduate of Atwood High School.  She was a member of the Church of Christ. She had been an active member of the Atwood Home Economics Club. She was a family-minded mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for her time spent as a den mother for Cub Scouts as well as many other activities that her son was involved in. She enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband to see family and Jonesboro, Tenn.
Also surviving are: a son, Randy (and spouse Tammy) Heisler, Bloomington; three grandchildren, Lindsey, Kiley and Cameron Heisler, two great-grandchildren, Landon and Laryn Kinser, and three sisters: Betty (and spouse Don) Hedington, Warsaw; Peggy (and spouse Bob) Wanamacher, Bourbon; and Doris Truex, Overland Parks, Kan. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 22 at King Memorial Funeral Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone.
