Diane Kay Thompson, 54, of 611 Ridgemoor Drive, Apt. 1, Fort Wayne, died at 7:45 a.m. Aug. 28, 2007, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.
She was born July 14, 1953, in Columbia City, to Ernest Wilson and Helen A. Redman Rumsyre. On July 18, 1970, in Whitley County, she married Robert M. Thompson.
Surviving are three children, including Robert Micheal Thompson, South Whitley; nine grandchildren; a brother; and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, Columbia City, with Pastor Dale Moser officiating. Burial will be in Nolt Cemetery, Columbia City.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
