Detractor

Editor, Times-Union:
As a “detractor” to Mr. Metzger, I would remind him that he might have a little bit more credibility in an opinion forum if he didn’t have a checkered past.

Mr. Metzger is a racist, and his ideas are no different than what is today considered as normal. How can someone who said that he’s running for Congress, and I quote: “to get into a fist fight every day.” I also need to remind him that what Soros and the Koch Brothers are doing today is no different than the wealthy groups who funded his beloved Nazis back in the 1920s and 1930s. To which I have still not heard Mr. Metzger try to refute, which leads me to believe that he does not refute what I have told him and that it is OK to be funded by the rich – as long as they contribute to his ideas.

I can assure you, Mr. Metzger, that I detest both political parties – Mitt Romney is no different than Barack Obama.  Employees, PACs and managers related to Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Chase and Bank of America are three of Mitt Romney’s biggest contributors. If you look on Obama’s 2008 donor sheets, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Chase come up quite a bit. Of course, by giving money to Obama, they were able to get access to unlimited credit from the (illegal) Federal Reserve. Those companies made bad bets, and lost. They should not have received any of our money. Now they are giving to Mitt Romney, do we really believe that he’s going to change? Romney does not know whether he needs a declaration of war in order to invade another sovereign nation, something that Obama and Bush know very well. Voting for Romney is like voting for Obama.

If Mr. Metzger wants to rant about one set of criminals, it would be nice if he pointed out all of them. I am against people like Soros, Koch Brothers, Obama, Bush and Romney. George W. Bush has been convicted of war crimes in other countries – so? It’s not like the U.S. Government is going to transfer him to some other country for his imprisonment. Mr. Metzger may try to citizen’s arrest the former president, I am fairly sure that he will not succeed, but feel free to try, I’d like to see it for my amusement.

Call me a detractor if you wish, but your ideas are no different than either party. Individual liberty is more important to me than the accumulation of wealth or power. We’ve tried your ideas once, Mr. Metzger, how about we try something different? “If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.” – Thomas Jefferson
