GOSHEN - Dennis L. Bender, 55, of 15155 Elkhart St., Goshen, died at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 4, 2010, in his residence after a six-month illness.
He was born March 1, 1954, in Goshen, to Gordon and Jacquelyn "Jacie" Secor Bender, who preceded him in death.
He lived in Syracuse for 20 years. He worked in production assembly at Commodore Homes for 20 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Ann (and spouse Joe) Littlejohn and Denise (and spouse Justin) Beach, all of Syracuse; four grandchildren; and two brothers, David W. Bender and Doug (and spouse Ann) Bender, all of Goshen.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with Pastor Lenny Krebs officiating. Cremation will take place and a private burial will be at a later date.
Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
