Dennis D. Neidig, 71, of Bourbon, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, in his home.
Dennis was born on March 7, 1954, to Joseph and Elizabeth Riechert Neidig on the way to the hospital. He married his high school sweetheart, Debra Hochstetler, on March 9, 1974, in Nappanee, and they were blessed with a wonderful family.
He worked as a machinist for over 45 years for Northern Indiana Manufacturing. He liked figuring out how things worked and taking it to the next level. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, showing and teaching his grandchildren things they aren’t supposed to do. The best part of his day was putting a smile on someone’s face!

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Neidig and Bernadine Neidig; his brothers, Steve Neidig and Glenn Leonard; and his sister, Rachel Rodriguez.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m.
