AKRON – Dennis Eugene Barnhisel, 71, of Roann, died at 6:50 p.m. Oct. 10, 2012, in his residence.
He was born Nov. 18, 1940, in Peru, to Doine and Clara Powell Barnhisel. On Aug. 25, 1963, in Mexico, Ind., he married Cathey K. Rush, who survives.
He worked at Hogue Engines, Akron, building engines.
Also surviving are a son; a daughter; a brother; a sister; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Michael Barnhisel officiating. Burial will be in Gaerte Cemetery, Gilead.
