Democrats that call themselves Progressives seem to be blindfolded with earplugs in and they are running as fast as they can toward a cliff. They can't see what is ahead of them and those that are screaming at them to stop are wasting their breath. As a Republican, my advice to them is to stay the course. The fewer Democrats there are getting in the way of true progress the better.
The election in Virginia showed how blind and deaf they still are. The public school system in Virginia seems to have been planned by the KKK. Critical Race Theory is a warped version of what was taught in segregated schools a century ago when whites were taught they were superior to blacks. We who are Christians know that is a lie. In the eyes of God, there are no differences between the races. Slavery was evil and plenty of Baptists fought to free blacks. When blacks become Christians, they are given eternal life in Heaven just like everyone else who is a Christian. I bet a lot of former slaves are in Heaven while their white masters might be burning in Hell if they were Christian in name only.
There is abundant evidence of willful Democrat blindness and deafness. When they were warned about Hunter Biden and Joe Biden's corruptness, they didn't want to hear the truth and called it Russian disinformation. Now that Biden is president, the truth is finally being allowed to be heard and believed. But diehard Democrats still don't want to hear about Biden corruption. There was no evidence of Russian collusion by Trump. But that's what Democrats wanted to believe even though they now know Hillary was behind a lot of the disinformation. But her lies won't put her in prison. Instead, America is being punished by having Biden inflicted upon us because Trump wasn't allowed to be an effective president starting on day one. The riots of 2020 were deadly and cost millions of dollars in damage. The so-called January 6 insurrection was not and armed riot which was demonstrated by the video tapes which Democrats don't seem to want to believe. None of the rioters burned anything down. Yet they are still behind bars and the 2020 rioters that were armed that did burn things down were released. That would be like beating a dog that peas on the rug but petting a dog that took a chunk out of your leg.
Biden seems to be the blindest and deafest president ever elected. He was told the extra money unemployed people were getting was keeping them from working and he didn't believe the obvious fact. Wanting to spend over $8 trillion within a year will ruin the economy. But he won't believe it. Next November open his eyes and ears.
