Delores Marcantel Pagel, 77, of Cheyenne, Wyo., formerly of Warsaw, died June 24, 2012, in Kindred Rehab Center, Cheyenne.
She was born July 12, 1934, in Oberlin, La., to Nelson and Lena Sonnier Marcantel. In November 1955, she married Duane A. Pagel, who survives. They were married for 56 years.
She was a longtime employee of Kimble Glass in Warsaw, retiring after 37 years of service in 2002. She enjoyed flowers and traveling.
Also surviving are two sons, Keith R. Pagel, Fort Wayne, and Kim R. Pagel, Baton Rouge, La.; a daughter, Karen R (and spouse Robert) Womack, Cheyenne; a brother, Bernard (and spouse Helen) Marcantel, Houston, Texas; a sister, Delvie (and spouse Harvie) Hemphill, Lafayette, La.; six grandchildren: Kira C. Pagel, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; James P. Holliday, Mansfield, Ohio; Rachel R. Womack, Tempe, Ariz.; Robert D. Womack II, Burbank, Calif.; Dominic and Hannah Pagel, Perth, Australia; and a great-granddaughter, Chloe Holliday, Mansfield, Ohio. She was preceeded in death by her parents and a brother, Bert Marcantel, Oakdale, La.
Cremation is today in Cheyenne, and a service is planned for this fall in Oakdale. ***** Donations in her honor may be made to a local Alzheimer’s Association.
